Two years ago, thanks to the generosity of a gentleman named Colin Pritchard, the microbiology lab at KGH acquired a second set of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technologies, after the first was gifted by Mr. Pritchard in 2016.

It was December, 26, 2019, Boxing Day, when Lincoln ‘Little Fighter’ Santano made an unexpected, early entry into the world at Kelowna General Hospital. He was a long way from home.

As the lead referral hospital for patients from across BC’s southern interior, guests of JoeAnna’s House are primarily from outside the central Okanagan.
