Volunteer: Kelowna General Hospital

We’ve done the math. Every week, the KGH Foundation relies on hundreds of hospital volunteers to staff our four non-profit businesses. Each 4-hour shift contributes approximately $84, and over $1 million in total donations per year. But beyond the numbers, volunteering is good for the soul.

Are you looking to meet new people? Do you enjoy working in a team environment? Do you like to learn new things while giving back in a rewarding way? Do you have 5 hours a week? We’d love to meet with you to discuss the number of ways to get involved.

We offer volunteer positions within the hospital and out in the community, including:

  • The Perking Lot, the coffee shop at KGH
  • The Royal Bistro, deli and cafe at KGH
  • The Centennial Mercantile, gift shop at KGH
  • Rutland Thrift Store
  • JoeAnna’s House
  • Special Events Volunteer

Scroll down for a list of our current volunteer positions.

Perspective. Gratitude. Purpose. Maybe volunteering isn’t about giving something away, but giving something back.
