VOLUNTEER NOW
To build new friendships, and do meaningful work

Perspective.
Gratitude. Purpose.

Maybe volunteering isn’t about giving something away but giving something back.

We’ve done the math. Every week, the KGH Foundation relies on hundreds of hospital volunteers to staff our four non-profit businesses. Each 4-hour shift contributes approximately $84, and over $1 million in total donations per year. But beyond the numbers, volunteering is good for the soul.

Are you looking to meet new people? Do you enjoy working in a team environment? Do you like to learn new things while giving back in a rewarding way? Do you have 5 hours a week? We’d love to meet with you to discuss the number of ways to get involved.

Don’t just make a difference. BE the difference.

Our volunteers are part of a caring community of dedicated individuals from all ages, stages and walks of life.  They aren’t just making a difference, they ARE the difference.  We did the math and discovered that each of our volunteers represents $84 in funds per four hour shift. Those funds go directly to purchasing state-of-the-art medical equipment totaling in the millions. In just four hours, each volunteer makes a vital contribution.

“People always ask why, but maybe they should ask why not! You get to work with the nicest people, for the nicest people. It’s the best kind of job satisfaction you’ll ever find.”

“Linking the passion and desires of donors to the needs/opportunities of the health system and KGH is such a privilege. I am inspired most by the people; our team, donors, clinicians & caregivers, and administrators and ultimately, the transformative changes to our system of care that become possible when we work together. I am grateful to be able to feel such purpose in my work.”
