Allison Young
Chief Executive Officer

Allison (Allie) Young serves as the CEO of the KGH Foundation, leading the organization with unyielding enthusiasm and a deep passion for advancing health care. She is a devoted mother of two remarkable sons and step-mother to three equally brilliant children. Allie holds a Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University and serves as Vice Chair for the Association of Health Care Philanthropy’s Canadian Council.

With over 20 years of experience in the social profit sector, Allie is a dynamic leader dedicated to catalyzing transformation within organizations and communities. She dreams big and cultivates exceptional teams that achieve remarkable results. Employing a person-centred approach, Allie brings her expertise in organizational design, executive development, governance, strategic planning, and compassionate leadership to the forefront of her work.

At my core is a deep-seated belief in the power of people driven by purpose, and the strength we have as a collective. It is this belief that fuels my desire to catalyze transformative change—not just for my organization, but for the entire community. Each day, I have the privilege of supporting extraordinary individuals who dream big, ignite hope, and courageously drive forward change, together.
