In 2024/2025, your support resulted in the KGH Foundation generating over $19.29 million in revenue. In turn, 213 project grants were approved to advance healthcare in our region. From funding the state-of-the-art 3T MRI, to equipment acquisitions that have enabled the opening of the Gynecologic Oncology Surgical Program, big and small gifts alike have had, and continues to have, an immeasurable impact on the community.
In addition, you can be sure that we will take great care with your gifts. The Foundation participates in an international benchmarking program to ensure our standards for achievement are measured according to the highest industry standards.
Our current Return on Investment (an indicator of “Fundraising Efficiency” – representing the return on each dollar spent) is $5.42, and our Cost to Raise a Dollar (or Fundraising Effectiveness) is $0.18.

The KGH Foundation ensures that every donation is put to good use for the betterment of patient care, medical research, and facility enhancements at Kelowna General Hospital, other health care facilities in the Southern Interior, and our community partners (such as CMHA Kelowna). We work closely with the hospital administration and medical professionals to identify areas of greatest need and allocate funds accordingly.
