Tribute Giving
Give in honour/memory/celebration of a loved one
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
It’s called tribute giving – a commemorative donation that recognizes, honours, and/or celebrates people and events. When you give to the KGH Foundation, you have the option to give in tribute (memory, honor, celebration) of someone special, including a donation in lieu of flowers in memory of a special someone, a gift in celebration of a friend or family member’s special event, or even a gift to honor your healthcare team. Your tribute gift makes a big difference.

Why Give In Honour?
In Memory
A Gift in Memory allows you to express your condolences, and you may select a card to be sent to the next of kin (mail or email). Your donation amount remains confidential.
Remembrance Birds engraved with the name(s) of honoured individuals are displayed on the Remembrance Wall in the hospital with a minimum donation of $2,500. To request a bird, please complete the form below. Alternatively, when KGH Foundation receives memorial donations, and they reach $2,500, we notify the next of kin to offer this recognition.
In Celebration
A donation in celebration of a special someone is a great way to say ‘thank you,’ ‘happy birthday,’ ‘happy anniversary,’ or simply ‘I’m thinking of you.’
When you make your gift online, you can even opt to have us send a card (mail or email) on your behalf. The amount of your gift is kept strictly confidential.
In Honor
Did you receive excellent care at KGH or one of its associated facilities? Are you looking for a way to say “Thank You”? Many grateful patients donate in honour of their care team. In Honour gifts can also be made to honour friends, family or someone special.
