This year, we have witnessed many moments that remind us of what is at the heart of giving. Because of people like you, hundreds of families found comfort and care at JoeAnna’s House. Because of people like you, patients from across the Southern Interior have accessed advanced treatments that were once only available in places like Vancouver or Calgary. And because of people like you, our friends, families, and neighbours have benefitted from community-based health programs that helped keep them out of the hospital in the first place.
Our community’s generosity brought many firsts to Kelowna General Hospital this year. Advanced technology like ‘Vinni’, our new Robotic Assisted Surgical system; a new gynecological oncology program; and a cutting edge 3T MRI now call KGH home, just to list a few.
Our neighbours from communities across the Southern Interior, from Golden to Osoyoos and everywhere in-between, have been impacted by these outstanding acquisitions at our hospital.

In 2024/2025, your support resulted in the KGH Foundation generating over $19.29 million in revenue. In turn, 213 project grants were approved to advance healthcare in our region. From funding the state-of-the-art 3T MRI, to equipment acquisitions that have enabled the opening of the Gynecologic Oncology Surgical Program, big and small gifts alike have had, and continues to have, an immeasurable impact on the community.

The KGH Foundation ensures that every donation is put to good use for the betterment of patient care, medical research, and facility enhancements at Kelowna General Hospital, other health care facilities in the Southern Interior, and our community partners (such as CMHA Kelowna). We work closely with the hospital administration and medical professionals to identify areas of greatest need and allocate funds accordingly.
