The Kelowna Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Club is bringing back Stride & Glide for a fourth annual iteration after three incredibly successful years, raising a total of over $145,000 for world-class care, right here at home. This year, the club is raising funds for cardiac care.
Registration is $20, and is now open!

8:30 AM: Registration and package pickup
9:15 AM: Mass start for 20km classic and skate skiers and 6.8km snowshoe to Backcountry Cabin.
10:00 AM: Mass start for 10 and 15km classic and skate skiers and 5.8 km snowshoe to Snowy Cabin.
Kelowna Nordic Hosts will lead those who want to ski or snowshoe at a more social pace at 10am.
12 PM to 2 PM: Lunch at Main Cabin, Bratwurst and Beer.
1:30 PM: Prizes drawn for all the fundraisers, top teams, and top fundraisers.
Note: Those who have registered and want to come out to ski on their own or with their team are welcome to get a map in the cabin and enjoy!
The event will take place on Saturday, February 10th, and will include distances of 10, 15 and 20km for cross-country skiing, and 5 and 10km for snowshoeing. Following the event there will be a barbeque, and prizes will be awarded.
The club will have prize draws for those who raise over $100, $500, and $1,000 intervals, as well as prizes for the most funds raised by teams of six. There will also be a fun prize for the best dressed team of six who raise over $500 – all Vikings, tutus and funky costumes are welcome!
