Winter Wonderland Wish List brings local businesses and community together to support families at JoeAnna’s House
November 20th, Kelowna, B.C. – This holiday season, the KGH Foundation and JoeAnna’s House are excited to launch the 3rd annual “Winter Wonderland.” This year the community holiday event has been reimagined and renamed as the Winter Wonderland Wish List, a festive, local call-to-action that invites shoppers, diners, sippers and movers to support local businesses while giving back to families whose loved ones are receiving specialised care at Kelowna General Hospital.
Over the past two years, the Winter Wonderland community celebration has become a seasonal tradition in Kelowna. Together, it has already raised more than $127,000 to support JoeAnna’s House, “a home away from home” for families of patients at Kelowna General Hospital.
“This year, rather than a single all-day event, we’ve evolved the concept into the Winter Wonderland Wish List: a curated guide of participating local businesses from November 20 to December 20, 2025, each offering a “give-back” opportunity so that everyday purchases can directly support families staying at JoeAnna’s,” explains Carly Reuter, Director of Community Engagement for JoeAnna’s House.
How it works
Shop, sip, dine, move or gift at any of the participating businesses on the Wish List map. From grabbing your morning coffee, to giving the gift of great skincare, trying out a new fitness class, to enjoying a family night out, every visit matters. The Winter Wonderland Wish List participating businesses are:
• Analog Coffee
• Basis Medical Aesthetics
• BLKBOX
• Cristalina Parc
• Current Taxi
• Deville Coffee (Downtown)
• Fat Marmot (at Big White)
• Lagree Kelowna
• Midtown Station
• Montana’s BBQ Grill
• Morso
• Red Bird Roasting
• Prestige Hotel & Resorts
• Pretty Not Bad
• Reuter Kotler Real Estate Team

The Winter Wonderland Wish List is also grateful for the support from Castanet, Pattison Media, The Beach 103.1, OV 103.9, The Lizard 104.7 and Crowe MacKay.
Pop Up Event
One of Winter Wonderland’s most magical traditions has been Santa photos for families, a highlight that has drawn hundreds of families to celebrate the season while giving back. Although the event has evolved beyond a single day, the tradition continues with a pop-up Winter Wonderland Family Day including Santa photos presented by the Reuter Kotler Real Estate Team, hosted at Midtown Station on November 29th, 11am – 3pm.
Families can enjoy festive treats such as s’mores, hot chocolate, and “pancakes on a stick.” The whole family can take part in holiday kids’ crafts sponsored by Crowe MacKay. All activities are by donation to JoeAnna’s House, ensuring every joyful moment helps keep families close when it matters most.
A Win for You is a Win For JoeAnna’s House
In the spirit of celebration and generosity, the Winter Wonderland Wish List features two exciting opportunities for those participate at any of the Wish List businesses:
• Gift of Flight Contest – Shop at any Wish List business and participate in their give-back offer and you’ll be entered for a chance to win one round-trip flight for two guests to any regularly-scheduled and marketed destination from WestJet. The more you shop/participate, the more entries you receive.
• Winter Wonderland 50/50 Raffle – Back for a Second Year, adults 19+ can purchase tickets in the Winter Wonderland 50/50 raffle. Last year’s winner took home over $1,000, and this year the draw returns as a fun holiday giving option. Visit the Winter Wonderland Wish List tab on the JoeAnna’s House website to get your ticket.
