We Will Always See You.

Now, more than ever, our health care workers need our support.

Even in the midst of a pandemic, KGH is still an acute care hospital. Disease, injury, and medical emergencies do not yield for pandemics, and neither do our caregivers.

Our health care staff continue to deal with their own fears, loss, disappointment, and personal risk digging deep to give of themselves through each and every shift. And then they come back and do it again the next day. They are tired, they are demoralized and they need our support.

With your help, we can ensure that our dedicated health care teams feel seen and heard during this very difficult time.

All funds raised will go directly towards the purchase of care and comfort items that help relieve some of their stress and brighten their day, even just a little.  This may include coffee, baked goods, lunches, mental health supports, and respite opportunities, for both KGH staff and health care workers in the community, in particular, staff at local long-term care facilities such as Cottonwoods and David Lloyd Jones.

It’s time to take action to show support for our health care workers.

White Heart In Kind

The community sees you. And they are stepping up to demonstrate their support for you.

Many businesses and individuals have begun to offer their products and services to health care workers as an in-kind gift. There have been offers from free paddleboarding classes, to hair cuts, to meals, and everything in between. If you have an offer for health care workers, or if you are a health care worker looking for offers available to you, be sure to check out our #WhiteHeartInKind initiative.

“People always ask why, but maybe they should ask why not! You get to work with the nicest people, for the nicest people. It’s the best kind of job satisfaction you’ll ever find.”

“Linking the passion and desires of donors to the needs/opportunities of the health system and KGH is such a privilege. I am inspired most by the people; our team, donors, clinicians & caregivers, and administrators and ultimately, the transformative changes to our system of care that become possible when we work together. I am grateful to be able to feel such purpose in my work.”
