JoeAnna’s House, keeping families together when they need it most....
Each year more equipment is needed than can be purchased by limited government funding. The KGH Foundation assists by working with the community to purchase priority equipment needed to make our hospital the best it can possibly be.
Your donation to our Area of Greatest Need goes right to our highest priority need. Funds are assigned to address the most critical medical and clinical needs of our partners at KGH. Healthcare is complicated. Urgent needs constantly arise that affect our quality of healthcare. These funds are used to shorten the time people must wait for diagnosis or treatment. They often assist critical infrastructure needs like creating temporary spaces for patients during high surge times like flu season. And these funds are used to make people’s stay a little less stressful – like creating a space for a loved one to stay in the patient’s room to provide support and comfort.
These funds allow the KGH Foundation to quickly make a difference where it counts most.
You can also support our highest priorities by making a monthly commitment to give.

Areas of Care
You can designate your gift to one of the areas of care listed below and it will be earmarked for that purpose.
Endowment funds are permanent named funds that carry on in perpetuity providing support now and for generations to come. Endowments can be designed to support any area as suits your interests. Often individuals or families elect to seed an endowment fund during their lifetime and augment their fund through an estate gift.
Medical Equipment & Current Projects
The equipment items listed are the top priorities this year as identified by leadership in Interior Health. Every effort will be made to dedicate donated funds to selected purposes. If full funding is not achieved or equipment needs change, the KGH Foundation will dedicate funds to the area of greatest need identified by the Kelowna General Hospital and its associated facilities.
