Stride & Glide for KGH

The Kelowna Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Club is bringing back Stride & Glide for a third annual iteration after two incredibly successful years, raising a total of over $100,000 for world-class care, right here at home. This year, the club is raising funds for cardiac care.
Registration is $20, and it is now open!

9:00 AM: Registration and package pickup
12 PM to 2 PM: Lunch at Main Cabin, Bratwurst and Beer.
12:30 PM: Prizes drawn for all the fundraisers, top teams and top fundraisers.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 25th, and will include distances between 6, 10, and 15km for cross-country skiing, and 5 and 10km for snowshoeing. Following the event, there will be a celebration, barbeque, and prizes will be awarded.
New this year, there will be a distance challenge, ‘Go the distance for KGH,’ starting one week before the event. Starting on Saturday, February 18th, participants will have the week to stride and glide as far as they can. Distances will be recorded, and there will be a prize for the team (of up to 6) that raises a minimum of $1,000 and racks up the greatest distance!
In addition, the club is offering new prize tiers based on total fundraising! Prizes are drawn for $100, $500, and $1,000 intervals.
